"Who's Who in Black Columbus" 2006 edition

"Who's Who in Black Columbus" publication

I was featured in the 2004 edition of "Who's Who in Black Columbus" which is a magazine style publication that celebrates and recognizes the positive achievements of African-Americans.

The 2006 edition will be "unveiled" in January 2006 and I was invited to include my photo and Biographical information in the upcoming edition:

"Ron Anderson is an oil painter and art educator. He teaches Commercial Art courses at The Columbus College of Art & Design and for Columbus Public Schools. Ron was a nominee for the 2005 Governor's Awards for the Arts in Ohio in the Individual Artist category.

Ron worked as a Fashion Illustrator for Halle’s Department stores and for Lazarus Department stores. In addition, he worked as the Art Director for Madison’s retail stores.

Ron owns Ron Anderson Studio, LLC and creates paintings for public art projects. His artwork is included in the permanent art collections of; The King Arts Complex, the Ohio Statehouse, The Absolut Spirits Company and The Ohio Supreme Court.

His art exhibitions have included shows at The Springfield Museum of Art, The King Arts Complex and The National Black Fine Art show in New York.

Ron served on the Board of Directors of The Worthington Arts Council and as Regional Director of The Ohio Governor’s Youth Art Exhibition.

He resides in Columbus, Ohio with wife and business partner Robin Anderson and their sons, Christopher and Brandon."
